David A. Terry, Ph.D., P.Geo.
President & CEO / Director
Dr. Terry is a professional economic geologist, senior executive and corporate director with more than 25 years’ of international experience in the mineral resources sector. In the course of his career Dr. Terry has held executive positions and directorships with a number of publicly-listed and private mineral resource companies. He has also worked with a number of senior mining companies including Boliden Limited, Westmin Resources Limited, Hemlo Gold Mines Inc., Cominco Limited and Gold Fields Mining Corporation. Dr. Terry holds a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in geology from Western University in Ontario and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
Rasool Mohammad, B.Sc.
Mr. Mohammad has worked in mining and mineral exploration industry throughout the Americas. He graduated from the NWFP University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan in 1991 with a B.Sc. (Mining Engineering). He has over 20 years of work experience in the mining and mineral exploration industry. He speaks English, Spanish, Urdu and Pashto. Mr. Mohammad is C00 / Director of Select Sands Corp (V.SNS).
Douglas Turnbull, B.Sc., P.Geo.
Douglas Turnbull is a consulting geologist with over 20 years’ experience in diamond, precious and base metal exploration. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and is a Qualified Professional Geoscientist recognized by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Turnbull is the President of Lakehead Geological Services Inc., a geological consulting company based in Vancouver, Canada, and provides a variety of exploration services to exploration and mining companies. He has been fortunate to have been part of mining teams responsible for the exploration and development of the Eskay Creek Gold Deposit in British Columbia, Canada, the Petaquilla Cu-Au Porphyry Deposit in Panama, the Mt. Kare Gold Deposit in Papua New Guinea and the OJVG Sabodala Gold Deposits in Senegal. In addition to Comstock, he currently serves as a director on the boards of Select Sands Corp. and Grizzly Discoveries Inc.
Darren Urquhart, B.A.Sc. (Electrical Engineering)

Mr. Urquhart is a Chartered Accountant with more than 10 years of experience working in both public practice and industry. Mr. Urquhart is presently engaged in public practice accounting offering CFO and accounting services to TSX Venture Exchange listed exploration companies in the Vancouver area. Mr. Urquhart began his career working as an audit accountant with Grant Thornton LLP, then later worked as a senior tax accountant with Lohn Caulder Chartered Accountants and more recently served as a consultant to an international private equity company. Mr. Urquhart obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2001 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. In 1995, Mr. Urquhart obtained his B.A.Sc. (Electrical Engineering) from the University of British Columbia.
Steven H. Goldman
Steven H. Goldman graduated from Carleton University in 1976 (B.A., President’s Medal) and from Queen’s University in 1980 (J.D.). He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1982.
He is a senior partner in the Toronto law firm of Goldman Hine LLP (www.goldmanhine.com) and the author of numerous articles concerning various aspects of franchising and insolvency law, commercial litigation, oppression remedies, shareholder and partnership disputes. He is also a frequent lecturer in those areas. He also provides strategic advice to businesses facing major litigation and insolvency issues.
He has been listed in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading litigation practitioner in franchising law in the Greater Toronto Area for more than 10 years, and has been listed previously in the Best Lawyers in Canada. Steven’s franchise law practice is split between acting for franchisors and franchisees. He also acts as a mediator and arbitrator in franchise and commercial disputes.
From December 21, 2007 until December 31, 2009, Steven was the President and CEO of both Speedy Corporation and Minute Corporation and successfully led the restructuring and turnaround of both the Speedy Auto Service and Minute Muffler franchise systems (with approximately 160 total retail stores located across Canada).
Steven is a member of the Executive of the Ontario Bar Association Franchise Section, member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, and the Institute of Corporate Directors. He was co-chair of the 12th Annual Ontario Bar Association Franchise Law Conference held on November 6, 2012 in Toronto.
Steven is a former director Select Sands Corp. (SNS.V) and Tribute Pharmaceuticals Inc., recently merged with Pozen Corp. on February 5, 2016, now known as Aralez Pharmaceutical, listed on the Nasdaq Exchange (symbol: ARLZ). He is a former director of Centric Health Corp. (formerly known as Alegro Health), the Canadian Children’s Opera Chorus and Fiber Connections Inc.
Ken Kuchling, P.Eng.
Mr. Kuchling brings with him over 35 years’ experience in mine engineering, mining operations and consulting across a variety of commodities including precious metals, base metals, bauxite, iron ore, tungsten, molybdenum as well as diamonds and potash. Throughout his consulting career he has had direct involvement in scoping and feasibility studies, project management, 43-101 technical reports, economic modelling, mine design, and environmental permitting. Mr Kuchling has project experience working in various regions in Canada, Alaska, Mexico, Panama, Argentina, Suriname, Russia, South Korea, Italy, Spain, and Senegal. He was involved in the design stage and environmental permitting of the Diavik Diamond Project in the Northwest Territories and has experience with tropical to Arctic mining conditions.
Mr. Kuchling is a mining engineering graduate from McGill University and holds a Masters of Mine Engineering from University of British Columbia. He is also a member of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and currently lives in Toronto Ontario.
Robert D. Luffman, CPA, CMA
Robert D. (Rob) Luffman, a Canadian CPA, CMA (certified management accountant), has close to 30 years of financial experience in a variety of businesses and charitable endeavors. Rob currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Gracetree Investments, LLC, a family office in Bristol, Tennessee. Gracetree has numerous successful investments in the pharmaceutical industry, real estate, information technology, and other private businesses. Rob began his career as an accountant at the United Co-operatives of Ontario and served for 13 years as a Division Controller of what is now AGC Glass North America, a Japanese-owned international automotive, residential and commercial glass manufacturer. Rob is serving or has served on a number of corporate and charitable boards.
Mr. Luffman received his designation from the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario in 1992 and is currently a member of ACAUS (Association of Chartered Accountants in the U.S.)

Jerry Blackwell, P.Geol.
Jerry is an exploration consultant based in Vancouver. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1974 and has been employed in exploration since. Jerry is known for his involvement in early-stage projects exploring for gold, base metals, and uranium and has led or been part of teams that have identified and delineated discoveries in Canada and Peru. He has been an officer and director of numerous junior resource companies over the years. He continues as a technical advisor to groups exploring in South America, Mexico, and Africa as well as the in the US and Canada.
Mr. Ryan grew up in Timmins, Ontario and began his career in exploration in the early 80’s working with Kidd Creek Mine’s geophysics team. It is here that he began to understand the science of geochemistry and exploration techniques.
Mr. Ryan moved to the Yukon in ’91 and until 1996 harvested wild gourmet mushrooms with his wife and business partner Cathy Wood. As a self-taught prospector, Ryan saw an opportunity with science to research the Yukon for its mineral potential.
Through his advanced soil-sampling techniques, Ryan made his first discovery with the White Gold project optioned by Underworld Resources in 2007 and acquired by Kinross Gold Corp in 2010. Mr. Ryan is also responsible for the discovery of gold at the Coffee project, which he optioned to Kaminak Gold Corp.
With these discoveries, Ryan began the largest staking rush the Yukon has seen in 100 years. With approximately 35,000 claims to his name, he continues his hunt for the next mineral deposit in the Yukon.
He has been honored with the Yukon Chamber of Mines Prospector of the Year in 1998, the 2010 Prospector of the Year by the BC/Yukon Chamber of Mines, and the PDAC Bill Dennis award in 2011 for prospecting success with a Canadian discovery.
Dr. K. Sethu Raman
Dr. K.Sethu Raman is a proven mine finder and a successful entrepreneur with more than 46 years of international experience in all phases of exploration, mine development, acquisitions and operations as well as experience in financial and legal areas. He has pioneered many new exploration concepts and strategies which have led to the discovery of eleven significant gold, silver, copper, zinc, phosphate and uranium deposits located near established mining camps, seven of which went on to become producing gold mines in Canada.
As President and CEO of Holmer Gold Mines Ltd (1985-2004) and Director and Advisor to Lake Shore Gold Corp (2004-2016), Dr. Raman has been the driving force behind the discovery and development of the Timmins West Gold mine in a previously unknown faulted extension of the Timmins Mining Camp. The surrounding area hosts several deposits and profitable mines operated by Lake Shore Gold with an annual production of 180,000 ounces of gold in 2014. On April 1, 2016 Lake Shore accepted a friendly $945M takeover offer by Tahoe Resources Inc.
Dr. Raman previously spent 13 years with Campbell Chibougamau Mines/Campbell Resources and the Royex Gold Mining Group of companies controlled by Ned Goodman. He joined as a Research Geologist and held various management positions including Vice President from 1980 to 1986. Here he played a key role in the discovery and development of six gold mines in Quebec, Ontario and the Canadian Arctic increasing the market cap from $25M to $1B. Subsequently these companies were sold to Home Stake Mining (now Barrick Gold) and Patino Mining Corp.
He holds a Ph.D. in Geology from Carleton University and a UNESCO Post-Graduate Diploma from the University of Vienna, Austria
Mr. Tenney is the past Chairman of Select Sands Corp. and has been the Chairman and a director of the Tribute Pharmaceuticals (TSXV: TRX; OTCQX: TBUFF) from 2004 to 2016 when it was acquired by Pozen Inc. He was a financial consultant at Devine Entertainment Corporation (“Devine”), a children and family film production and development company from 2002 to 2011. Prior to his position at Devine, Mr. Tenney was Chief Executive Officer of ARC International Corporation from 1978 to 2000. ARC International Corporation was a developer of indoor ice arenas and tennis clubs, as well as an investment company involved in entertainment and cable television. He was a director and Chairman of the Board of Cabletel Communications from 1985 to 2000, which was a leading supplier of broadband equipment to the cable television industry.
Mr. Tenney was a director of Ballantyne of Omaha, Inc. from 1988 to 2000 and served as Chairman of the Board from 1992 to 2000. Ballantyne of Omaha, Inc. was a leading manufacturer of commercial motion picture projection equipment. He also served as a director for Phillip Services Inc., a Canadian metal recycling company, from 1998 to 2000 and served in such capacity as a representative of Mr. Carl Icahn.
Ms. Barylole is currently Emerging Markets Development Director of Welink Energy Inc. and has over 15 years’ renewable energy experience in both wind and solar. She is currently responsible for the development of alternative energy solutions for delivery into emerging markets. She has previously held senior positions at a Canadian based renewable energy development company as well as a gold mining exploration company with significant assets in Africa and the Middle East.
